| Read or post comments - OFF | | Thursday 27 November 2008 | Summer camp and staff applications | Posted on Thursday 27 November 2008 - 21:08:15 by SLt Patenaude | | Many cadets and parents have expressed an interest in having electronic access to the forms and information required for summer training applications for both course and staff cadets.
Below are the links to both forms.
Staff cadets need to submit the following:
- Staff cadet application - CF-51 - Resume
Cadets applying for summer training only require a CF-51.
The CF-51 must be printed on legal sized paper and must be complete. There wil be two Saturdays in December set aside to completing CF-51 for course cadet applications. Saturday December 13th and 20th. We will begin at 0900hrs and complete at 1200hrs each day. If you intend to come in for one of these two days please take the time to look at the form and note down the information that you will require.
The two most common pieces of information that are forgotten or incomplete are the doctors information and the alternate familly contact complete with phone number, address and postal code. Also the alternate familly contact cannot be someone who resides in the same home as the cadet and parent.
Should there be any questions about how to complete this form please feel free to ask the staff on Tuesday.
Thank You

The government will be setting up a heated dome facility for us to use as our parade square. We will also be moving out of the current office facility into a portable office units. Timeline remains unclear but we will keep you posted on any new developments.
So in the interim, please dress warm as the evenings are starting to get a bit chilly.
| Read or post comments - OFF | | | Summer Camp Point System | Posted on Friday 26 September 2008 - 10:03:12 by ASLt Ryan | | Most cadets want to attend summer camp but unfortunately not all will be permitted due to a limited number of spaces alocated to each Corps. FALKLAND has developed a points system to help determine who will be awarded camp. This system will be based on a series of merits such as Dress, Deportment and Drill, Tag Day attendance, Tuesday night attendance and any mandatory activities. Points will be assigned to each cadet based on the following structure.
New Entries will be assessed from September 2008 to December 2008 All other trades will be assessed from January 2008 to December 2008
0 Points is good!
75%+ Attendance Record = 0 Points 60-74% Attendance = +1 point < 60% = +2 points Present at Annual = 0 points Dress, Drill & Deportment – Will be marked and assigned by each Divisional Officer Mandatory Functions – 0 points if present and +1 point for each absence
